Short answer: Portuguese, most EU and Brazilian citizens can visit Singapore without a visa. Citizens of countries on ICA’s visa list, such as India, Bangladesh and Pakistan, need a Singapore entry visa, even if they live in Portugal. The ICA processing fee is S$30. Every visitor, with or without a visa, must submit the free SG Arrival Card within the three days before arrival.

How to apply from Europe
Singapore visas are processed by ICA. Depending on where you live, an application is usually made in one of these ways:
- through a local contact in Singapore (a Singapore citizen, permanent resident or registered company) who submits it online
- through an authorised visa agent appointed for your nationality
- at a Singapore overseas mission that accepts visa applications
The ICA website explains the routes for each nationality. Applications are typically processed in about three working days, not counting the day of submission, and can be made up to 30 days before arrival.
Documents commonly needed
- passport valid for at least six months, and a recent photo
- the completed visa application form
- return or onward flight reservation
- hotel booking or your host’s details
